Candidates who have passed high school and intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized institute by UPMSP/ CBSE/ ICSE and Must have passed graduation examination with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized university/ institute.

( SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Freedom Fighter Dependent/ Ex-servicemen (Self) candidates will have 05% relaxation in minimum marks. )

UP DElEd Notification 2024

The online applications are invited from eligible applicants for D.EL.Ed two year course for the training session 2024-25 for taking admission in Uttar Pradesh D.EL.Ed government and private institutes recognized by NCTE. The all eligible students can submit online application from 18th September 2024 through UP D.EL.Ed portal updeled.gov.in. What is UP DElEd?

There will be a two-year pre-service training course for teacher training at the primary level in the state, which was earlier known as Basic Teacher Certificate (BTC) Training in the state, according to the NCTE Regulations 2014 Appendix-2, now this course will be called Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd). It is called The format of the on-line application form will be called e-application form.

UP DELEd Selection Process 2024

D.El.Ed training - 2024 and selection for subsequent training will be done on the basis of merit. The merit list will be prepared by calculating the quotient on the basis of sum of marks percentage of high school, intermediate and graduation examination mentioned in the application form sent by the candidates and the process of class/category wise selection will be done in the order of preference. In computing the score, the percentage of each test will be rounded off to the nearest two decimal places.

At the time of selection, if the coefficients of two candidates of the same class/category are equal, then the candidate older in age will be given preference. If the coefficient and age are also the same, preference will be given according to the name of the candidate in alphabetical order.

UP DElEd Residential Eligibility 2024

Such candidates will be eligible to apply who are permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh. In the archival verification at the time of admission, it will be mandatory for the candidate to present the residence certificate issued by the competent authority of his home district in Uttar Pradesh till the date of admission, otherwise the application form of the candidate will be rejected.

UP DElEd Admission Process 2024

  1. The merit list in descending order will be prepared by the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority, UP Prayagraj in collaboration with NIC Lucknow, calculating the quotient on the basis of sum of marks obtained in the High School, Intermediate and Graduation examination mentioned by the candidate in the online application form.
  2. The state rank of the candidates who get place in the merit list will be determined and the state rank of the candidates will be published on the specified website. The state rank of the candidates will be the basis of selection.
  3. For the selection of 100% seats in the training institutes, the process of taking the option of the training institute from the candidates and the archival verification and admission/counseling in the allotted institute will be done in two rounds/phases. The process will be divided into various stages based on the state rank of the candidates in each round of counselling. Only the candidates falling in the state rank limit will be able to participate in that stage.
  4. Before filling the choice of training institute, the candidates appearing in the round/stage of counseling on the basis of state rank, as advance fee of training institute, will have to pay Allotment Fees of Rs. 5000/- will be mandatory to make online payment. Only after making the payment, the candidates will complete the choice of training institutes of their choice on-line.
  5. The candidates themselves will make the choice of the institute online (choice filling / choice lock) through the website prescribed by their own level.

UP DElEd Photo and Image Instructions 2024

Photograph Image:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size coloured and front view picture.
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
  • If you have to use flash, ensure there’s no ‘red-eye’.
  • If you wear glasses, make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
  • Cap, hat and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • Size of the file should be not more than 20 KB. (Dimension: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20 KB. If the file is more than 20 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.

Signature Image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with black Ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Size of the file should be not more than 10 KB. (Dimension: 4.5 cm x 2.5 cm)
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more that 10 KB.
