Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) invites online applications form for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Joint Entrance Test 2023 for two year professional programme of teacher education to the admission session 2023-25. All eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online for Bihar DElEd Admission 2023 at BSEB official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in from 24th February 2023 to till the application last date 27th February 2023.

The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)is a two year professional programme of teacher education. It aims to prepare teacher for the elementary stage of education, i.e. classes I to VIII. The aim of elementary education is to fulfill the basic learning needs of all children in an inclusive school environment bridging social and gender gaps with the active participation of the community.
The elementary teacher education programme carries different nomenclatures of the programme shall be the same across all states and it shall be referred to as the 'Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
The D.El.Ed programme shall be of a duration of two academic years. However, the students shall be permitted to complete the programme within a maximum period of three years from the date of admission to the programme.
According to the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the D.El.Ed. Online Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Committee, according to the reservation rules of the Government of Bihar for admission to the 'Diploma in Elementary Education' (D.El.Ed. ) course in all government and non-government affiliated teacher education institutions of Bihar and keeping in view the space fixed by the government and the preference given to the college by the candidates for Urdu and arts / commerce and science subjects. The college will be allotted to the candidates in a computerized manner.
The minimum qualifying marks for passing the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination will be 35% for unreserved category candidates and 30% for reserved category candidates.
D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test will be of 150 minutes (2.30 Hours) online Computer Based Test with 120 fixed marks. The entrance will comprise of General Hindi/ Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, General English and Logical & Analytical Reasoning.
All the candidates appearing in the D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test 2023 can download online admit card by 02.03.2023 using their User ID and Password, the link available on the board’s website http://biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in/ "D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test Admit Card 2023” will download their admit card.
After completion of D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance and publication of Answer key, BSEB finally releases result of this entrance test. All participant candidates can download their result at board official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. In home page of board website click on “D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Test Result 2023” then enter your Application Number and Date of Birth to get your outcome.
