Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online application for recruitment to the post of Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination I 2024 for 457 vacancies. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online for CDS Examination 1 at UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in from 20th December 2023 to till the last date 09th January 2024 for UPSC CDS Exam I 2024

For Officers' Training Academy— (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) |
Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 2000 and not later than 1st January, 2006. |
Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution
Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.
Candidates who are studying in the final year/semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply

Online applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates for Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination I 2024 by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Admission to the above courses will be made on the results of the written examination to be conducted by the Commission followed by intelligence and personality test by the Services Selection Board of candidates who qualify in the written examination.

(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:-

The maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the interviews will be 300, 300, 300 and 200 each for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy respectively.
There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card 07 days before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website ( http://upsc.gov.in) for downloading by candidates. No e-Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.
The candidate must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards.
