After scrutinizing the applications, the eligible candidates will be called for physical measurement as per the procedure prescribed by the government. Candidates who have completed the physical qualification will be called for efficiency test, for which the date and venue will be notified separately on the departmental website. This Physical Efficiency Test (Test) will be of total 100 marks. The details of Physical Efficiency Test (Test) are as follows-
Caste/category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of result of physical efficiency test, and out of this list only applicants maximum 15 times the number of advertised posts will be given an opportunity to participate in the written test. All the candidates who obtain the same minimum marks will be eligible for the next stage, even if the number exceeds 15 times. The written examination will be conducted on departmental basis or by any other agency appointed/authorized by the state government.
The written test will be of total 100 marks and its duration will be of 02 hours. In this, questions of general knowledge, intelligence ability, analytical ability and arithmetic will be asked, which will be of objective type.
Pay Matrix Level- 04 Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay 1900/-
Stipend will be given to all the forest guards selected on the posts of direct recruitment during the probation period of 03 years as per the rules :
Selection list will be prepared on the basis of physical efficiency test 100 marks, written test 100 marks and bonus marks 10 marks.
Candidates in the merit list will have to appear for the walking test. Male candidates will have to cover a distance of 25 kms in 04 hours and female candidates will have to cover a distance of 14 kms in 04 hours. There will be no marks for this test. But he will not be eligible for appointment if he does not complete the distance within the stipulated time.
