▶ National Eligibility Test (NET):- A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline and specialization completed on or before 19.09.2021 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).

▶ Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination:- A candidate for the Agricultural Research Service must hold a Master's degree or equivalent in the discipline concerned with specialization as defined in Annexure-VI completed on or before 19.09.2021 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification to above by the Government of India.

Candidates who have appeared at an examination, the passing of which would render them eligible to appear at the ARS-2021 Examination but have not been informed of the results, may apply for admission to the ARS – 2021 Examination.

▶ Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6) Examination :- Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization as defined in Annexure-VI and XI, completed on or before 19.09.2021 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a combined examination for NET-2021, ARS-2021 (Preliminary) and Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T6) Examination during 21.06.2021 – 27.06.2021 in Online computer based mode at 32 Centres across India in a staggered slot-wise examination format as per the Rules and Schemes of Examination indicated in this notification as at Section (A), (B) and (C) respectively. The ARS-2021 (Mains) Examination will be conducted on 19.09.2021. Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before filling the Online Application Form wherein Section (A), Section (B) and Section (C) contain the specific details with respect to NET-2021, ARS-2021 and STO (T-6) respectively.

Selection Process:- BHEL Selection process comprises of two stages. Candidates interested in joining BHEL as Supervisor Trainee shall have to necessarily clear both the stages in order to be considered on the merit list for joining.

Pay Scale/ Salary:

• For ARS: Pay Band – 3 of ₹ 15,600 – 39,100 with RGP of ₹ 6000/- (revised Pay Level 10 - ₹ 57,700 – 1,82,400).
• STO (T-6): Pay Band – 3 of ₹ 15,600 – 39,100 with GP of ₹ 5400/- (revised Pay Level 10 - ₹ 56,100 – 1,77,500 of the 7th CPC), based on the Institute of their choice opted while filling the online application.
