State Bank of India (SBI) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Apprentice for 6160 vacancies under the Apprentices Act 1961. All eligible and interested Indian citizens can apply online at SBI official website sbi.co.in from 01st September 2023 to till the application last date 21st September 2023 for Apprentice Recruitment in State Bank of India.
Interested candidates read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961 for State Bank of India (SBI). Before apply online must read the recruitment notification carefully, you can download the notification through given link as below:

Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of local language.

The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows

The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses., the SBI will not reimburse or bear any travelling expenses that may be incurred by the candidate for attending said test.
Duration of training is of one year.
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
The candidates should download their call letter and an "Acquaint yourself booklet" by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth from the Bank's website https://nsdcindia.org/apprenticeship or https://apprenticeshipindia.org or http://bfsissc.com or https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers tentatively in the month of October / November 2023.
