SSC CGL 2023 Exam Notification, Apply Online At ssc.nic.in

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites online applications for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2023 for filling of various group B and C posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. All eligible male and female candidates may apply online at SSC official website ssc.nic.in from 03rd April 2023 onwards for CGL Exam 2023. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination 2023 (Tier-I) from 14 July 2023 to 27 July 2023.

SSC CGL Age Limit 2023

Age Limit Remarks
For the posts for which age limit is 18-27 years Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005.
For the posts for which age limit is 20-30 years Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2003.
For the posts for which age limit is 18-30 years Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2005.
For the post for which age limit is 18-32 years Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2005.

Eligibility Criteria For SSC CGL Exam 2023

Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2023):

Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Junior Statistical Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; OR

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

All other Posts:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

The candidates who have appeared in their final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before the cut-off date i.e. 01-08-2023.

SSC CGL Examination 2023 Selection Process

Based on the marks scored in Tier-I i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II Examination. Separate cut-offs will be fixed for the post of Junior Statistical Officer for appearing in Paper-I & Paper-II of Tier-II, for the post of Statistical Investigator Grade-II for appearing in Paper-I & Paper-II of Tier-II, for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer for appearing in Paper-I & PaperIII of Tier-II and for all other posts for appearing in Paper-I of Tier-II.

The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers as indicated below:

  4. Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release online admit card or call letter on its regional portal before examination dates for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) – 2023. How To Apply For SSC CGL Vacancy 2023

  • Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the website of SSC Headquarter i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-III and Annexure-IV. Sample proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Form are attached as Annexure-IIIA and Annexure-IVA respectively.
  • In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should be without cap, spectacles and both ears should be visible.
  • Before submission of the online application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the form.
