UPTAC Admission To First Year

The Counselling for admission to first year of the following courses offered at the Institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow including few other universities situated in territory of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2022-2023 shall be conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

UPTAC Direct admission (LE) to 2nd Year of B.tech/ B.Pharm

  1. Candidates qualified in CUET (UG)-2022 exam conducted by NTA for B. Tech/B. Pharmacy Lateral Entry can register online for Direct Admission (Lateral Entry) to 2nd year of B. Tech/B. Pharmacy courses in the Counselling.
  2. The eligible candidates (Refer clause 3) seeking direct admission to second year of B.Tech. (for engineering diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates) or B. Pharmacy. (Only for pharmacy diploma holders) in the Institutions affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU), Lucknow, and other specified state Universities, are required to register online for counselling before last date
  3. Such seats are limited to a maximum of 10% of previous year sanctioned intake in institutions/colleges for different courses at first year level.
  4. However, for B. Tech students belonging to the B.Sc. stream shall be considered ONLY AFTER filling the seats in this category by students of Diploma stream.
  5. Direct admission to Second year shall not be made in B.Arch./ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ B. Des/ B. Voc/ MBA/ MCA Courses.
  6. The candidates who have passed qualifying examination from other than Uttar Pradesh State and whose parents are not domicile of Uttar Pradesh State are not eligible for direct admission to second year of B.Tech/ B. Pharmacy.

UPTAC Counselling Registration Fee

The Counselling Registration fee is Rs. 1000. The registration fees have to be submitted Online through Credit/debit Card/ Net Banking while submitting the Online Application. Please note that the bank may additionally charge service charges plus applicable taxes while making the payment through Credit/Debit card/Net banking.

UPTAC Tuition fees

  1. The tuition fees in Govt. / Govt. aided colleges / institutes shall be as per latest orders of Government of U.P applicable in the respective colleges/institutes. However, few courses are under self-finance scheme and the details of the fee for such courses can be obtained by the respective colleges/institutions. However, information about amount of the hostel and other fee can be obtained from the institute itself.
  2. The fees in Private Institutions/Govt. aided Institutions running self-finance courses will be as per the latest notification/orders issued by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh/Fee Fixation Committee.
