Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued online PET/ PST admit card for recruitment to the post of Constable (Carpenter, Blacksmith, Driver, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler, Veterinary, Painter, Washerman, Barber and Safaiwala) in Group-'C' Non-Gazetted for 543 vacancies. The eligible applicants can download their online PET/ PST admit card at SSB recruitment official website www.ssbrectt.gov.in from 20th September 2023 onwards for constable recruitment in Sashastra Seema Bal.

Eligibility Criteria for SSB Constable Recruitment 2023

Constable (Driver) 21-27 Years
  1. Matriculation or equivalent.
  2. Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Constable (Veterinary) 18-25 Years

10th pass with Science as main subject.
Constable (Carpenter, Blacksmith & Painter) 18-25 Years
  1. Matriculation or equivalent;
  2. Two years work experience in respective trade; or
  3. One year certificate course from a recognized ITI or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade; or
  4. Two years Diploma form a recognized ITI in the respective trade or similar trade; and
  5. Must qualify trade test.
Constable (Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler, Cook & Water Carrier) 18-23 Years

a.) Matriculation or equivalent with;

  1. Two years work experience in respective trade; or
  2. One year certificate course from a recognized ITI or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade; or
  3. Two years Diploma form a recognized ITI in the respective trade or similar trade.

b.) Must qualify trade test.

Other Allowances:-

The above post carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance and any other allowances as admissible in SSB from time to time as per Government orders.
