Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) has issued online main examination admit card for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspectors (SI), Prohibition in Prohibition, Excise & Registration Dept., Govt. of Bihar and Sub-Divisional Fire Station Officer in Bihar Fire Services, home department (Police). All eligible male and female candidates can download online main exam admit card at BPSSC official website bpssc.bih.nic.in from 16th August 2023 onwards for SI and SDFSO recruitment in BPSSC.
Interested candidates read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of written competitive test (Preliminary and mains) and physical eligibility and efficiency test.
The merit list of the finally successful candidates for selection for appointment to the above posts will be prepared reservation category wise on the basis of marks obtained in the main written examination in order of merit-cum-priority.
The preliminary examination will consist of one paper of 200 marks in which the total number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be of 2 (two) hours. In the said paper, questions related to general knowledge and current affairs will be asked.
Successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be given the opportunity to appear in the main examination. There will be two papers in the main examination.
The method of filling online application form has been adopted for selection on the above posts. The process of filling the online application will be started from the date- 04/05/2023. Regarding the prescribed method and procedure, the website of the Commission - www.bpssc.bih.nic.in has been explained in detail. All the candidates will have to purchase the online application form at the prescribed price (as examination fee). The cost of the application form will be received through online payment. It will be mandatory for the candidates to pay the cost of the online application form, after registering the online application form / submitting the application form, the application fee will be withdrawn by demanding charge back from the concerned bank. Rejecting their applications, legal action will also be taken against them.
