Sainik School Admission AISSEE 2026-27 Application Form
Post Date : 11 October 2025 04:00 PMThe National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of Sainik School Society (SSS) invites online application form for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination AISSEE 2026 for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools/ New Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2026-27. All eligible Indian citizens can apply online at NTA AISSEE official website https://exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society from 10th October 2025 to till the application last date 30th October 2025 for AISSEE 2026.
Interested candidates read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

- General/ OBC (NCL): Rs.850/-
- SC/ ST: Rs.700/-
- Fee can be paid online through Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking/ UPI.
Sainik School Admission 2026-27 Age Criteria

| Class 9th | 01-04-2011 to 31-03-2013 (Those who are between 13-15 years of age as on 31.03.2026 are eligible) |
AISSEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For admission to Sainik Schools to Class VI :-
- A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2026 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/ she should have been born between 01 April 2014 and 31 March 2016 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2026-27.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as for boys.
For admission to Sainik Schools to Class IX :-
- A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2026, for admission to Class IX, i.e. he/ she should have been born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 20123 (both days inclusive) for admission to the Academic Year 2026-27.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys.
- He/ She should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognised school at the time of admission.
For admission to Approved New Sainik Schools in Class VI & Class IX :-

NTA AISSEE 2026 List of Required Documents
There are following list of required Documents during the submission of online application form as follows:
- Scanned images of Candidate's Photograph (file size: 10kb - 200 kb) in JPG format.
- Candidate's Signature (file size: 10kb - 50kb) in JPG format
- Candidate's left-hand thumb impression. (file size 10 kb - 50 kb) in JPG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used).
- Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Caste/ Community/ Category Certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Exservicemen, if applicable.
- Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School. (Applicable only for those who are studying currently in approved New Sainik Schools).
- The certificates as detailed above: File size (50 kb to 300 kb) in PDF.
