• Successful candidates in the preliminary competitive examination will be asked to fill a separate online application form for the main (written) examination, in which the successful candidates will have to deposit the examination fee (for the main examination) within the stipulated period through the prescribed procedure.
• The compulsory subjects mentioned for all the posts of the Integrated Main (Written) Competitive Examination will be the same as the compulsory subjects for the 69th Combined Main (Written) Competitive Examination.
• The optional subjects given for different posts of the Integrated Main (Written) Competitive Examination will be different, out of which it will be mandatory to select one subject.
• Question papers will be in both Hindi and English languages.
• All non-language subjects can be answered in either Hindi (Devanagari) or English or Urdu script. Candidates will not be allowed to answer in other languages.
• Candidates opting to answer the question papers may, if they wish, give only the English version of technical terms, phrases/quoted passages, if any, along with the language chosen. If the situation is different from this, the Commission will take a decision regarding validating/not validating such answer sheets.
• The number of candidates to be called for personality test on the basis of marks obtained in the main written examination will be two and a half (2½) times the number of vacancies sought. All the candidates securing the same cut off marks category wise will be selected for the personality test.
