Government of Bihar invites online applications for Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) scheme for BC & EBC category and SC & ST category Students to the academic year 2024-25 through PMS Online portal. All eligible and interested male and female students can apply online at PMS Online official website pmsonline.bih.nic.in from 07th January 2025 to till the application last date 10th March 2025 for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme 2025.

Bihar Post Matric Scholarship 2024 25 Eligibility

  1. Applicants must be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
  2. The caste of the applicant should be under Backward Class (BC) / Extremely Backward Class (EBC) / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes.
  3. BC & EBC or SC & ST students whose annual income of parent/ guardian including own income does not exceed Rs.3,00,000/- only, will be eligible for scholarship under this scheme. The applicant should be studying in post-admission courses in government institutions / recognized non-government institutions located within the state.

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. Residential Certificate of Bihar
  3. Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of Govt. of Bihar
  4. Income Certificate ( 2024-25 )
  5. Disability Certificate ( If Applicable )
  6. Fee Receipt from Institution
  7. Bonafide Certificate ( As Applicable )
  8. Final examination passed certificate (such as Intermediate certificate in case of first year and Graduation first certificate etc./ marksheet in case of second year of graduation ).

The date from 07.01.2025 to 10.03.2025 is fixed for inviting online applications through PMS portal (https://scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in for SC and ST category students, https://pmsonline.bihar.gov.in for BC and EBC category students and https://instpmsonline.bihar.gov.in for the concerned educational institutions) for the academic year 2024-25 under Scheduled Caste Post Matric Scholarship Scheme and Scheduled Tribe Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, Chief Minister Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Post Matric Scholarship Scheme and Chief Minister Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Post Matric Scholarship Scheme-2024.
