State Health Society Bihar (SHSB) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) on contractual basis for 5006 vacancies at Primary Health Centres/ Additional Primary Health Centres under RBSK under National Health Mission (NHM) and others for Adv. No. 08/2025. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online at SHSB official website shs.bihar.gov.in from 14th August 2025 to till the application last date 28th August 2025 for ANM recruitment examination 2025.

Selection of candidates will be done as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Computer Based Test (CBT) and work experience marks as per category wise vacancy.
(a.) Weightage of marks of written competitive examination (Computer Based Test) Note: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the CBT competitive examination will be determined by multiplying it by a factor of 0.8. For example, if a candidate has obtained 50% marks in total in the CBT competitive examination, then his/ her additional marks in the competitive examination will be calculated at 50 X 0.8 and 40 marks will be given to him/her. |

(b.) 5 marks per year, maximum 20 marks for work experience on the post of ANM kept completely provisionally under contingency and temporary arrangement for prevention and control of Corona virus (COVID-19) (for part of a year, proportional marks obtained by multiplying the number of working days by 05 and then dividing by 365 will be added). |

Minimum qualifying marks for passing the Computer Based Test (CBT)- In the light of Resolution No. 2374 dated 16.07.2007 and 962 dated 22.01.2021 of the Department of Labour & Public Relations, Bihar, it will be mandatory to obtain minimum qualifying marks of 40% for general category, 36.5% for backward class, 34% for extremely backward class and 32% for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe, women and disabled candidates.
While submitting the online application, it will be mandatory to upload the latest passport size colour photograph (jpg/jpeg/png format) and signature (jpg/jpeg/png format) in the indicated column. The photograph of the applicant/candidate should be taken recently (within three months), with clear open eyes on a white background. Photographs wearing dark glasses, cap etc. will not be valid. Five copies of the passport size colour photograph uploaded in the online application should be printed and kept safe with you. So that the candidate can present it at the time of certificate verification or thereafter when demanded by the State Health Committee, Bihar.
