- Head Constable (Radio Operator) : Pay Level - 4 in the Pay Matrix Rs.25,500 - 81,100/- (as per 7th CPC)
- Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) : Pay Level - 4 in the Pay Matrix Rs.25,500 - 81,100/- (as per 7th CPC)
Other allowances: These posts shall carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, Dress Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, LTC and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions.
BSF HC RO and HC RM Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025
The Computer Based Test will be conducted in English and Hindi medium separately for the both posts i.e HC (RO) & HC(RM).
The MCQ type Computer Based Test (CBT) of 02 hours duration will be conducted at the selected Centers on the date and time fixed by HQ DG BSF. In the Computer Based Test (CBT), MCQ paper, there will be 100 questions of 02 marks each (Total 200 marks), divided in the following four parts:

Part I, II & III : 10+2/ Intermediate of CBSE/ State Boards of Education.
Part IV : Current affairs, History, Geography and General Science.
Negative Marking : For every multiple-choice question of 2 marks, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
BSF HC RO RM Photo, Sign & Documents Size 2025
Candidates to upload scanned copies of their educational documents, caste certificates, scanned signatures, recent photograph and other relevant certificates (if any). Digital size of documents/photo/signature will be as under :-
- Photograph (from 30 Kb to 100 Kb).
- Signature (from 20 Kb to 50 Kb).
- Documents (from 30 Kb to 100 Kb).
Format should be .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf format only.
How To Apply For BSF HC RO and HC RM Recruitment 2025
The application by the candidates must be submitted through ONLINE mode. No other mode for submission of application will be accepted. The facility for submission of online application will be opened on BSF website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in. w.e.f. 24/08/2025 at 00:01 AM and will be closed on 23/09/2025 at 11:59 PM. Procedure for submission of online application is attached with recruitment advertisement as per Appendix-'C'.
