CSIR UGC NET December 2025 NTA Notification, Apply Online
Post Date : 25 September 2025 10:45 PMNational Testing Agency (NTA) invites online applications for Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. All eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online at CSIR NET website csirnet.nta.ac.in from 25th September 2025 to till the application last date 24th October 2025 for CSIR UGC NET Examination December 2025.

CSIR UGC NET 2025 December Eligibility Criteria
General/ Unreserved/ General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree or equivalent examination. The OBC belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/ SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
Candidates who are pursuing their Master's degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.
The candidates with a Four-Year Bachelor's Degree Programme are allowed to appear in a subject the List of Subjects and their Codes for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 are given at (Annexure-I of Prospectus) in which they want to pursue a Ph.D. irrespective of the discipline in which they have obtained the four-year bachelor's degree
Upper Age Limit:
- JRF: Not more than 30 years as on the 1st day of the month in which the examination is concluded i.e. December, 2025.
- Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
