Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Recruitment 2026 Online

The eligible unmarried male candidates can submit online application form at Indian Navy official portal joinindiannavy.gov.in from 14th March 2026 to till the application closing date 06th April 2026 for SSR Medical Assistant recruitment examination 2026.

Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Eligibility 2026
Qualified in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Note : Candidates who are appearing in class 12th Board Exam of academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria.
SSR Medical Assistant Physical Fitness Test (PFT) 2026
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. PFT standard is as follow:-
- Minimum Height for Male :- 157 cms
- 1.6 Km run :- 06 min 30 sec
- Squats (Uthak Baithak) :- 20
- Push-ups :- 15
- Bent Knee Sit-ups:- 15
Navy SSR Medical Assistant Syllabus and Test Pattern 2026
Stage - I (INET - Indian Navy Entrance Test)
- The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 mark.
- The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice).
- The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Biology and General Awareness.
- The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2. Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in
- Duration of examination will be 1 hour.
- Penalty for Wrong Answer : For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
