All eligible and interested candidates can apply online at MPPSC official website www.mppsc.mp.gov.in from 27 Jan 2023 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria For State Eligibility Test

  • अभ्यर्थी, केन्द्रीय अधिनियम या राज्य अधिनियम द्वारा स्थापित किसी विश्वविद्यालय या शैक्षणिक संस्थान या विश्वविद्यालयअनुदान आयोग, 1956 (अधिसूचना क्रमांक 03 सन् 1955) के अधीन विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातकोत्तर उत्तीर्ण अथवा स्नातकोत्तर अंतिम वर्ष / स्नातकोत्तर तृतीय/ स्नातकोत्तर चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर में अध्ययनरत् होने पर पात्र होगा।
  • अनारक्षित श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों हेतु स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि में न्यूनतम 55 प्रतिशत अंक तथा आरक्षित श्रेणी (केवल मध्यप्रदेश के अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (क्रीमीलेयर को छोड़कर) EWS तथा निःशक्त अभ्यर्थियों) हेतु 50 प्रतिशत अंक होना आवश्यक है।
  • ऐसे अभ्यर्थी जो स्नातकोत्तर के अंतिम वर्ष /स्नातकोत्तर तृतीय/स्नातकोत्तर चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर में अध्ययनरत हैं तथा जिनका स्नातकोत्तर अंतिम वर्ष का परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित नहीं हुआ है अथवा स्नातकोत्तर अंतिम वर्ष / स्नातकोत्तर तृतीय / स्नातकोत्तर चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर का परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित नही हुआ है, अथवा स्नातकोत्तर अंतिम वर्ष / स्नातकोत्तर तृतीय/ स्नातकोतर चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर का परिणाम प्रतीक्षारत है, वे सभी अभ्यर्थी प्रावधिक रूप से परीक्षा में सम्मिलित होने के लिये अर्ह हैं।
  • उक्त अभ्यर्थियों के परीक्षा में पात्र होने पर भी अर्हता प्रमाण-पत्र तभी मान्य होगा, जब सेट परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित होने के दो वर्ष में अनारक्षित श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों हेतु स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि में न्यूनतम 55 प्रतिशत अंक तथा आरक्षित श्रेणी के (केवल मध्यप्रदेश के अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसुचित जनजाति / अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (क्रीमीलेयर को छोड़कर), EWS तथा दिव्यांग अभ्यर्थियों को न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत अंक अर्जित करने के अभिलेख उनके द्वारा आयोग (सेट प्रकोष्ठ) में प्रस्तुत कर दिया जाएगा अन्यथा उन्हें अनर्ह घोषित किया जाएगा।
  • ऐसे पीएच. डी. उपाधि धारक अभ्यर्थी जिनकी स्नातकोत्तर की परीक्षा 19 सितंबर, 1991 तक पूर्ण हो चुकी है उन्हें शैक्षणिक अर्हता में 5 प्रतिशत की छूट (55 प्रतिशत से 50 प्रतिशत) देय होगी। (The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination have been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (t.e. From 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET)
  • ऐसे अभ्यर्थी भी पात्रता परीक्षा में सम्मिलित होने के पात्र होंगे जिनके पास भारत के किसी भी विश्वविद्यालय से या विदेश के किसी भी विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से स्नातकोत्तर डिप्लोमा या प्रमाण- पत्र हो, किन्तु उन्हें एसोसिएशन ऑफ इण्डियन यूनिवर्सिटी, नई दिल्ली से यह प्रमाण-पत्र प्राप्त कर प्रकोष्ठ को प्रदान करना होगा कि उन्हें प्राप्त डिग्री या डिप्लोमा भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा प्रदत्त स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि के समकक्ष है।

Selection Process of MPPSC SET 2023 Recruitment

State Eligibility Test 2022 will be conducted thought offline mode. There will be 02 question paper in SET 2022 :-

  1. First Question Paper - 100 Marks
  2. Second Question Paper - 200 Marks

MPPSC SET Syllabus and Exam Scheme 2023

First Question Paper (Compulsory) :-

General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude will be objective type question paper in which there will be total 50 questions. The candidate has to attempt all the questions. Each question will be of 02 (two) marks. The first question paper will be of total 100 marks and the exam duration will be one hour (60 minutes).

Second Question Paper :-

Second question paper will be of selected (elective) subject. There will be a total of 100 questions in the second question paper. Each question will be of 02 (two) marks. The question paper will be completely objective type according to the course, in which there will be multiple choice questions: - Matching type, True / False, Assertion Reasoning Type (Multiple Choice Question: Matching, True / False, Assertion Reasoning Type).

The second question paper will be of total 200 (two hundred) marks and the duration of the exam will be two hours (120 minutes). SET 2022 exam will have two papers. The time duration of the examination session will be 03 hours without any break.

Note : In SET 2022, the exam pattern of Chemical Science, Earth Science, Life Science, Mathematical Science, Physical Science, subject is also UGC. Will be as per NET exam format. CSIR According to the instructions of Mathematical Science, there are 4 units in the course, which is divided unit-wise for the students of Mathematics and Statistics. Necessary instructions for the course of this subject will be made available on the website of the Commission as per the instructions of the Higher Education Department. Necessary instructions for the syllabus of Music and Performing Arts will also be available on the website of the Commission.

How To Download Online MPPSC SET Admit Card 2023

Issuance of admit card for SET-2022 examination or passing the examination will not mean that the applicant has been considered qualified. If the candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the eligibility test, his/ her application will be rejected, if he/she is also found eligible in the State Eligibility Test 2022. If false information is found, the eligibility certificate will be denied.

Result Declaration of MPPSC SET 2023

The result of SET 2022 is based on the number of candidates appeared in both the question papers of all the subjects as per the reservation policy/ rules of the Government of Madhya Pradesh (as per the updated instructions of MP General Administration Department) and as per the new instructions of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. 06 percent will be determined as a qualifying number (slot).

How To Apply Online For MPPSC SET 2023

  1. Instructions and examination rules will be available for filling the online application form for MPPSC SET 2023 available on the home page through the applicant website www.mponline.gov.in.
  2. After reading the instructions and rules thoroughly, click on the Continue button to fill the online application form.
  3. It is mandatory to fill all the information sought in the online application form correctly and in case of any information remaining blank, the online application form will not be submitted.
  4. To prepare an image of photo, signature and two lines of handwriting along with the online application form, print the format through the link, scan it with two lines of handwriting, photo and signature in place and save it in the computer in jpg format only. Attach the saved image with the online application form through the Browse button.
  5. Before submitting the online application form, read it again and make sure that the information filled in the application form is correct or not. If there is any kind of mistake, then only after correcting it, submit the application form using the Submit button.
  6. On submission of the application form, the application number will be shown and the 'proceed to payment' button will have to be used to pay the portal fee, under which two options will be available:

    i. Credit/ Debit Card (Off All Banks)

    ii. Internet Banking.
