RRB JE Recruitment Process 2025

The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:

  1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
  2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II)
  3. Document Verification (DV)
  4. Medical Examination (ME)

RRB JE Syllabus and Exam Scheme 2025

1st Stage CBT (Common for all notified posts of this CEN)

The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The normalized score of 1 st stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage exam as per their merit.

Railway JE Medium of Examination 2025

Questions for CBTs will be available in English, Hindi and 13 regional Indian languages (viz., Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu). Accordingly, candidates must choose their medium of examination from any one amongst those listed in the online application form. CBT questions will be displayed in the language opted and in English.

RRB JE Admit Card 2025

  1. Information and details regarding the CBTs schedules and link for downloading the E-call letters will be given on the websites of the RRBs. Eligible candidates will also be informed via SMS and email.
  2. Eligible candidates can download their e-call letter (and for scribe, where applicable) for the CBT from the RRB websites as given at Para 15 (g) about 4 (four) days before the date of CBT. However, intimation about the city of examination shall be given about 10 (ten) days in advance.
  3. No call letter will be sent to candidates by post
  4. Detailed information and instructions regarding the CBTs will be given along with the e-call letter.Candidates should read and follow them scrupulously. Failure to comply with the instructions may lead to their disqualification.

Railway JE Salary 2025

Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Level 6 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of Rs.35,400/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time. (ii) Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research Level 7 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of Rs. 44,900/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.

RRB JE Documents Upload Instructions 2025

  1. Recent, clear colour passport size photograph (against a plain white background) of the candidate in JPEG image (size 30 to 70 KB) - without wearing dark glasses and/or cap.

    Note: Candidates must have at least 12 (twelve) copies of the same photograph for future use during the recruitment process.

  2. Scanned JPEG image of candidate's signature in running handwriting (size 30 to 70 KB).
  3. SC/ ST Certificate (only for candidates requesting free pass for train travel) in pdf format (up to 500 KB).
  4. PwBD candidates should also upload passport size photograph as per above specifications only (and not the full body photograph used in the disability certificate).

  • Online application can be filled on the board's website https://www.rrbapply.gov.in from 31.10.2025 to 30.11.2025 at 11:59 pm.
  • Candidates must read all the information and instructions carefully before filling the online application to prevent mistakes.
  • Candidates must first 'Create an account' for this CEN through the link given in the official RRB websites at Para 15 (g) below. They must have an active personal mobile number and a valid email ID for receiving OTPs for account creation. No change in details filled in 'Create an Account' form (including mobile number and email ID) will be permitted later. If a candidate has already created an Account for CENs notified in 2025, he/she should use same account credentials to log in and apply for this CEN (i.e., CEN No. 05/2025) as well.
  • Fill online application form carefully and make payment.
  • Then click on preview button to verify you entered details.
  • After that click on submit button and print your application form receipt for future reference.
