Post Date : 18 June 2026 04:31 PMState Bank of India (SBI) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officers (PO) for 1500 vacancies for CRPD/ PO/ 2026-27/ 09. The Phase-I online preliminary examination will be held in the month of August 2026 across the country as per the notified examination centers. All eligible citizens can apply online through Official SBI career portal sbi.co.in/careers from 18th June 2026 to till the last date of application submission 08th July 2026 for PO recruitment examination 2026.

Probationary Officer (PO) Eligibility Criteria 2026
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.09.2026.
Candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2005 and not earlier than 02.04.1996 (both days inclusive).

SBI PO Salary and Pay Scale 2026
Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs.48,480/- (Plus 4 advance increments) in the scale of 48480-2000/7- 62480-2340/2- 67160-2680/7- 85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
