All eligible and interested male and female candidates can download online complete syllabus PDF file from OSSC official website ossc.gov.in for Odisha CGL Recruitment Examination 2023.

OSSC CGL Exam Scheme 2023
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance as per three stages given below:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Written Examination
- Certificate Verification
OSSC CGL Exam Scheme 2023
Stage - I: Preliminary Examination - 150 Marks
The indicative syllabus is in Annexure-C of the Advertisement.
Stage - II:
- Main Written Examination
- Two Papers - 200 Marks
- Paper - I: Language (Odia and English)
- Paper - II: (General Studies)
- Mathematics Tests shall be held only for the post of Auditors.
- Candidates of the following Services/ Posts are required to qualify for the Computer Skill Test.
- Auditor
- Inspector of Supplies
- Junior Assistant (HOD)/ Junior Assistant (Field Offices)
NOTE : There will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by the candidate in examination consisting of Multiple Choice Questions. The Quantum of penalty/ negative marking will be ¼ of the total mark for each wrong answer if four options are there, ⅓ of the total marks if three options are there and so forth.

(a). Preliminary Written Examination
- Arithmetic - 10th Standard
- Data Interpretation (Chart, Graph, Table, Date Sufficiency etc.) - 10th Standard
- Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability.
- Current Events of National and International Importance.
- Computer/ Internet Awareness.
(b). Main Written Examination
Paper-I: Language (Odia & English)
- Odia Language Comprehension - 10th Standard.
- English Language Comprehension - Plus Two Standard.
- Precis Writing (Odia as well as English).
- Usage and Vocabulary (Odia as well as English).
- Translation from English to Odia and vice-versa.
Paper-II:
- General Studies. (Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Odisha economy & Budget, Indian and World Geography, History of India, History of Odisha, Art & culture with special reference to Odisha, General issues of Environment & Climate change- Plus Two Standard).
(c). Computer Skill Test
- Computer Fundamentals

- Word Processing(MS Word)
- Spread Sheet (MS Excel)
- Presentation/ Slide ware(MS PowerPoint)
