All eligible and interested male and female candidates can download online complete syllabus PDF file from OSSSC official website osssc.gov.in for Forest Guard recruitment through Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2023 (II).

OSSSC Forest Guard Selection Process 2023
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance as per three stages given below:
- Written Examination
- Physical Test
- Documents Verification
OSSSC Forest Guard Syllabus 2023
There shall be a Written Test of 150 marks (MCQ type in OMR System) in one paper as detailed below:

Note :
- The Written Test shall be of the standard of 10th/ High School Certificate Examination.
- In the Written Test, there shall be negative marking @0.50 mark per question for wrong/ multiple answers.
OSSSC Forest Guard Physical Test 2023
There shall be Physical Test comprising of Physical Standard Measurement (PSM) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for recruitment to the posts of Livestock Inspector, Forester and Forest Guard.
I. Physical Standard Measurement Test (PSM) :

OSSSC Forest Guard Minimum Qualifying Marks 2023
In the Written Test, the minimum qualifying marks for ST, SC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and Sportsperson category of candidates shall be 30% and the minimum qualifying marks for candidates other than ST, SC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and Sportsperson categories shall be 35%. The minimum qualifying marks for Gomitra candidates only shall be 20%.
