SSB Junior Assistant Admit Card 2024 Notice

Hall Tickets (Admit Cards) of the candidates will be available in the official website of State Selection Board, Odisha: https://ssbodisha.ac.in w.e.f 20.12.2024 onwards. Candidates are advised to download their Hall Tickets (Admit Cards) from the above website by entering their Date of Birth and Mobile Number. The Hall Tickets (Admit Cards) will not be sent to the candidates separately.

SSB Odisha Junior Assistant Exam Date 2024

It is for information of all concerned that, the Written Examination for recruitment to the Non-Teaching posts of Junior Assistants in Government Degree Colleges of Odisha (Advt. No. 03/2024) will be held in one sitting (from 08:00 AM to 10:30 PM) on 29.12.2024 (Sunday) at Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Jeypore and Sambalpur Zones.

The selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Junior Assistant will be made through a Competitive Examination detailed below.

The selection will be based on Written Test and Skill Test. The examination shal consist of:

Written Exam

The written test shall be held in the following subjects:

NOTE :

• There shall be 100 Questions having equal weightage.
• While for each right answer, 2 marks will be awarded.
• There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• The questions shall be of Multiple-Choice type which are to be answered in carbonless OMR Answer Sheets.
• Syllabus for the Written Test shall be uploaded in the official website of State Selection Board in due course.

Computer Skill Test

1. WINDOWS Operating System - To test some of the following basic system operations on file/ folder(s):
   • Create, Rename, Copy/ Cut/ Paste, Delete using Clipboard.
2. MS Word - A Paragraph in MS Word incorporating some of the tools given below:
   • Editing and formatting text and paragraph.
   • Page and Paragraph Set-up, inserting pictures and Word Art.
3. MS Power Point - A Power Point presentation with 2/3 slides using the tools given below:
   • Editing and formatting slides.
4. MS Excel - A problem in spreadsheet related to some of the tools given below:
   • Formatting cells and data.
   • Functions & Formulae (Relative, absolute & Mixed reference)
5. MS Access - A problem in MS Access related to some of the tools given below to be tested during the examination:
   • Creating and entering data into a database.
   • Setting the primary key
