The Information To Applicants For “On-Line” Submission Of Application For Recruitment To The Posts Of Constable & Lady Constable, Sub-Inspector/ Lady Sub-Inspector (UB) And Sub Inspector (AB) In West Bengal Police – 2020. The Online Applications Are Invited From Eligible Applicant To The Filling Of Following Vacant Post Through West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB).
WB Police Selection Process:- The Applicant Will Be Made Selection On The Basis Of Preliminary Written Test, PMT & PET, Final Written Examination & Interview As Per Recruitment Schedule.
WB Police Constable Syllabus:- The Final Written Examination will have 85 (eighty five) Multiple Choice (Four choices) Objective Type Questions (MCQs) carrying 01 (one) mark each. A. General Awareness and General Knowledge, B. English, C. Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik standard), D. Reasoning and Logical Analysis.
WB Police Sub Inspector (SI) Syllabus:- 1. Preliminary Examination And Paper I Of The Final Combined Competitive Examination General Studies And Arithmetic. 2. Paper II – English 3. (ii)Paper III - Bengali / Hindi /Urdu / Nepali.
WB Police Recruitment Interview:- A Limited Number Of Candidates Will Be Called For Interview In Accordance With Merit. In The Interview, The General Awareness And Suitability Of The Candidate For Public Service Will Be Tested. On The Basis Of The Marks Obtained In The Final Written Examination And The Interview, A Merit List Of The Provisionally Selected Candidates Will Be Prepared By The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board. Candidates’ Ability To Speak In Bengali Will Also Be Tested.
