RPSC Senior Scientific Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024

For Post S. No. 1 :-

(a) M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Zoology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Genetics, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Biology/ Serology/ DNA (in III or IV Semester/ specialisation course of minimum 6 months duration) and Zoology or Molecular Biology or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics as one of the subjects in Bachelor of Science level, and

(b) Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application or Degree with at least one subject as Computer Science/ Computer Application, or 'O' level or higher level Certificate Course by NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC Society), New Delhi, and.

(c) Two years' working experience in the field of Forensic DNA in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.

For Post S. No. 2 :-

(a) M.Tech/ M.C.A./ M.E./ M.Sc. with at least IInd Division with Computer Science or Computer Applications, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Cyber Forensic/ Digital Forensic (in III or IV Semester/ specialisation course of minimum six months duration) and Computer Science or Computer application or IT or Cyber/ Digital Forensic as one of the major subjects in Bachelor of Science/ Engineering level, and

(b) Two years' working experience in the field of Cyber Forensic in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.

For Post S. No. 3 & 7 :-

(a) M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Zoology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Genetics, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Biology/ Serology (in III or IV Semester/ specialisation course of minimum six months duration), and Forensic Biological Science/ Zoology/ Botany as one of the subjects in Bachelor of Science level, and

(b) Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application or Degree with at least one subject as Computer Science/ Computer Application, or 'O' level or higher level Certificate Course by NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC Society), New Delhi, and

(c) Two years' experience of working in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.

For Post S. No. 4 :-

(a) M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Physics/ Chemistry, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Documents (in III or IV Semester/ specialisation course of minimum 6 months duration) and Forensic Chemistry/ Chemistry or Physics/ Physical Science as one of the subjects in Bachelor of Science level, and

(b) Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application or Degree with at least one subject as Computer Science/ Computer Application, or 'O' level or higher level Certificate Course by NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC Society), New Delhi, and

(c) Two years' experience of working in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.

For Post S. No. 5 & 8 :-

(a) M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Chemistry, or M.Tech./ M.E. with at least IInd Division in field of Chemical Engineering, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Chemistry/ Toxicology/ Narcotics (in III or IV Semester/ specialisation course of minimum 6 months duration) and Chemistry/ Forensic Chemistry as one of the subject in Bachelor of Science level, and

(b) Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application or Degree with at least one subject as Computer Science/ Computer Application, or 'O' level or higher level Certificate Course by NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC Society), New Delhi, and

(c) Two years' experience of working in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.

For Post S. No. 6 :-

(a) M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Physics, or M.Tech./ M.E. with at least IInd Division in fields of Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, or M.Sc. with at least IInd Division in Forensic Science with specialisation in Forensic Physics/ Physical Science (in III or IV Semester/ specialisation course of minimum 6 months duration) and Physics/ Physical science as one of the subject in Bachelor of Science level, and

(b) Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application or Degree with at least one subject as Computer Science/Computer Application, or 'O' level or higher level Certificate Course by NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC Society), New Delhi, and

(c) Two years' experience of working in a F.S.L. of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public undertaking or corporation.
