Exam City Slip : The link of information about the date, shift and examination district/ city of the written examination of all the candidates will be displayed on the website of the Recruitment Board https://uppbpb.gov.in on 25th October 2025. Candidates should download and check the examination district/ city information slip of their written examination by logging in through their registration number and date of birth.

Admit Card : The admit card for the written examination of Computer Operator Grade A, UP Police will be released on 29th October 2025 on the board's website https://uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates will be able to download their admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth on the link available on the board's website. The link to download the admit card will be displayed on the board's website at that time.

This is to inform all the concerned, that written examination for recruitment of UP Police Computer Operator Grade A, will be conducted on 01st November 2025 in various cities of Uttar Pradesh state. The provision for downloading of admit card will be made available in the website in due course. UP Police Computer Operator Grade A Exam Pattern 2025

A. The written examination will be objective type, conducted online. The duration of the examination will be two hours. There will be a total of 160 questions, each carrying 1.25 marks. The total marks for the examination will be 200. The written examination will cover (1) General Knowledge, (2) Mental Aptitude, (3) Reasoning, and (4) Computer Science. The level of the question paper will be commensurate with the minimum educational qualification required for the position.

B. A minimum of 40% (normalized) marks in the written examination will be required. Based on the marks obtained in the examination, as many candidates as required will be called for the Computer Typing Test.

The computer typing test will be qualifying. Computer typing speeds must be at least 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English. Candidates will be declared successful if they achieve the above speed and 85 percent accuracy. Hindi typing will be based on a Unicode Inscript keyboard.
