No. 16-Exam-2026. All eligible candidates can apply online through the official UPSSSC website upsssc.gov.in from 03rd August 2026 to till the last date of application submission 01st September 2026 for UP Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026.

- General/ OBC Candidate: Rs.185/-
- SC/ ST Candidate: 95/-
- PwBD Candidate: 25/-
- Fee can be deposited through online using Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking or SBI E-Challan.

- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years

UPSSSC PET Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates possessing a High School qualification or its equivalent are eligible to apply for the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2026. Therefore, all candidates who have obtained a High School qualification or its equivalent prior to the last date for submitting the application form may apply for the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2026.

- क्रमांक- 1 से 9 पर अंकित शैक्षणिक विषयों से सम्बन्धित प्रश्नों की कठिनाई का स्तर (Difficulty Level) राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक एवं अनुसंधान परिषद (NCERT) द्वारा निर्धारित सेकेन्ड्री/ सीनियर सेकेन्ड्री स्तर का होगा।
- परीक्षा का प्रकार, वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकृति का व प्रश्नपत्र बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्नों पर आधारित होगा।
- प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर हेतु 1/4 अंक की कटौती की जाएगी।
