The preliminary examination shall be conducted on 12th October 2025 across the state as per the notified examination center by the Board. All eligible applicants can download admit card online at WBPRB official website at wbpolice.gov.in from 28th September 2025 onwards for Sub Inspector recruitment in West Bengal Police.

WBPRB SI Admit Card 2025 Notice
- The e-Admit Cards for Preliminary Written Examination will be available on the websites of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (https://prb.wb.gov.in) & West Bengal Police (www.wbpolice.gov.in) from 28.09.2025 for recruitment to the post of Sub- Inspector (Unarmed & Armed Branch) in West Bengal Police - 2024.
- The Candidates are informed that on keying of their Application Sl. No. and Date of Birth in web-tool, they will get an OTP on their Mobile no. and e-mail ID, which they have mentioned in their application form. The OTP is mandatory for proceeding to download their e-Admit Card. After putting the OTP on the web-tool, they will be instructed to fill up some particulars and only then they will be able to download their e-Admit Card.

- The preliminary examination will be an OMR based MCQ type written examination. The question paper will be set in two languages (English and Bengali).
- The marks obtained by the candidate in preliminary examination shall not be counted for the purpose of determining the final merit list.
NOTE : There will be NEGATIVE marking for each incorrect answer in the preliminary examination. ¼th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

- At first open West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) official website https://prb.wb.gov.in
- In the right side of home page click on the given tab as "Admit Cards".
- In the Admit Cards page, select exam from choice input box as "Recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector (Unarmed & Armed Branch) in West Bengal Police - 2024".
- After selection now you will see a table in the same page under selected exam.
- Next click on Get Details link and enter your application number and date of birth to download your admit card.
- Finally click on Submit button to download your admit card and save a copy in PDF or print out for future reference.
