A. Written Examination :
The Examination will consist of only one paper on -

The examination will be held on multiple choice objective type questions.
B. Personality Test : (Full Marks - 20)
- A limited number of candidates selected merit wise on the results of written examination will be called to appear at the personality test.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in the written examination and the marks obtained in the personality test.
- The Commission, shall have the discretion to fix qualifying marks in the written examination, the personality test and also in the aggregate.
WBPSC Food SI Syllabus 2023
- General Studies (Matters of common experience including every day science, current events and problems with special reference to India, elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography).
- Arithmetic (Questions will be set on the basis of the syllabus of Madhyamik Examination of the W.B.B.S.E. with mental ability).
- Assessment and evaluation of answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final.
