BHU School Entrance Test SET 2025 Online Form
Updated On : 20 February 2025 06:35 PMBanaras Hindu University (BHU) invites online applications for admission into Class 9 and 11 through School Entrance Test (SET) 2025 in Central Hindu Boys' School (CHBS) and Central Hindu Girls' School (CHGS) for academic session 2025-26. All eligible and interested boys and girls can apply online at BHU official website bhuonline.in from 20th February 2025 to till the application last date 20th March 2025 for BHU SET 2025.
Interested candidates read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

BHU SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For Class IX
13 Years to 15 years of age as on 31.03.2025 i.e. date of birth should not be before 31.03.2010 and after 31.03.2012 and have passed class VIII examination from a recognized school.
For Class XI
18 Years of maximum age as on 31.03.2025 i.e. date of birth should not be before 31.03.2007 and have passed class X examination from a recognized Board/ University with the required percentage of marks/ grades as under noted:
For External Candidates (Coming Through SET)
- 60% marks or equivalent grades and above in class X in aggregate for admission in Maths & Biology Stream. Further 50% marks or equivalent grade and above is essential in each subject of Maths and Science.
- 55% marks or equivalent grades and above in class X in aggregate for Commerce Stream.
- Class X passed for Arts stream.

BHU SET Exam Scheme and Syllabus 2025
Class IX: The Question Paper will be up to class VIII standard comprising 100 MCQs of subjects- English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science and Science.
Class XI: The Question Paper will be up to class X standard comprising 100 MCQs of subjects-
- Maths Group : English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General Studies.
- Biology Group : English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Studies.
- Arts Group : English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Maths and General Studies.
- Commerce Group : English, Hindi, Economics, Mathematics and General Studies.
