The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has issued online round 1 seat allocation result for online counseling in IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other-GFTIs for the academic year 2023-24. All eligible male and female students can download online round 1 seat allocation result at JoSAA official portal josaa.nic.in from 30th June 2023 onwards for JoSAA 2023.
Interested candidates read the full notification carefully, before applying online.

Indian Institutes of Technology [IITs] offer several academic programs for which admission is on the basis of JEE (Advanced) 2023.
National Institutes of Technology [NITs], Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur [IIEST], Indian Institutes of Information Technology [IIITs or Triple-I-Ts] and a few other technical Institutes funded fully or partially by Central or a State government [Other-GFTIs] (referred to as NIT+) offer academic programs for which admission is on the basis of JEE (Main) 2023.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has published online Registration and Choice Filling notification for taking admission into the various technical education institutes in India including the IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other - GFTIs for the academic year 2023-24. Counselling will be required of candidates who have passed the JEE Advanced 2023 and JEE Main 2023 Exams as per business rule.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority, i.e. JoSAA, is a single window online platform used to manage the admission, administration, registration, form fill-up etc. activities of the IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other - GFTIs of the India. This online system facilitates the students to take admission into various streams JoSAA covers admission for various other departments.
Admission into college in India IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other - GFTIs shall be done strictly on merit basis.
Marks secured at the JEE Advanced 2023 and JEE Main 2023 Examination out of the Total Marks, Weightage & Reservation (if applicable) will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit list.
In case of OBC-NCL/ GEN-EWS category, the certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2023.
