NIMCET 2025 Admission Application Form, Exam Date
Updated On : 07 May 2025 10:45 AMNational Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli invites online applications for NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2025 for taking admission into Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program offered by NITs and IIITs participating institutes for the academic year 2025-26. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online at NIMCET official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in from 17th April 2025 to till the application last date 16th May 2025 for NIMCET 2025.

NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Eligibility Criteria to Appear for NIMCET 2025
Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/ PwD) in
- Any UG program of minimum three years with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects
OR
- B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University/ Institution
are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2025. Conversion of scored marks from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not permitted.
(CGPA other than 10-point scale will be converted to 10-point scale based on unitary method)
Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET-2025 and such candidates shall have to furnish the proof (in the form of a certificate issued by the Head of institution where the candidate has been studying / has studied) of candidature for appearing in the examinations during the academic year 2025-26.
