Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released online prelims, mains and PET exam marksheet for recruitment to the post of Police Sub Inspector (SI) / Daroga in home (Police) department for 1275 vacancies. All eligible and interested candidates can download Marksheet online at BPSSC official website bpssc.bih.nic.in from 20th August 2024 for Police Sub Inspector recruitment in Bihar police home department.

Online applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates for recruitment to the post of Police Sub Inspector (SI) / Daroga in home (Police) department by Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission. After collection of applications, the applications will be scrutinized and a written competitive examination will be organized for those candidates whose applications are found correct. The written examination will be held in two stages – preliminary and main examination. All papers of written examination will be based on multiple choice questions.
There will be a paper of 200 marks in the preliminary examination in which the total number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be 2 (two) hours. In the said paper, questions related to general knowledge and contemporary issues will be asked. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent marks in this will be declared unsuccessful for the main examination.
Candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will be given the opportunity to appear in the main examination. There will be two papers in the main examination.
For selection for appointment to the above mentioned posts, the merit list of finally successful candidates will be prepared reservation category wise on the basis of marks obtained in the main written examination.
The cut-off date for calculating age limit, educational qualification, other qualifications and experience, certificate of being a government servant of Bihar Government and age of ex-servicemen is fixed as August 01, 2023 for all the candidates.
The method of filling online application form has been adopted for selection on the above posts. The process of filling online application form will be started from date 05.10.2023. Regarding the prescribed method and procedure, it has been explained in detail on the website of the Commission - www.bpssc.bih.nic.in. All candidates will have to purchase the online application form at the prescribed price (as examination fee). The cost of the application form will be received through online payment. It will be mandatory to pay the cost of online application form.
