BTSC GMO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:- MBBS graduation or equivalent qualification from any recognized Indian University which is recognized by Medical Council of India (M.C.I.) presently National Medical Council (N.M.C.) and permanently registered under Bihar and Orissa Medical Act 1916.
If 4 and half years MBBS course and 01 year rotating internship has been done from foreign universities and FMGE examination conducted by MCI has been passed and if that foreign university is recognized by MCI, then their degree will be recognized and such candidates will be considered educationally eligible for the post of General Medical Officer.
Training and Experience:- Compulsory internship training of 12 months in a hospital/institute recognized by Indian Medical Council and Government is mandatory. There should not be even a single day's break in internship, whatever the reason.
