Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Constable (Sipahi) in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police for 19838 vacancies. All eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online at CSBC official website csbc.bihar.gov.in from 18th March 2025 to till the application last date 18th April 2025 for Constable recruitment in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police.

The educational qualification for the post of constable shall be Intermediate (10+2) passed or Maulvi certificate issued by BSMEB or Shastri (with English) or Acharya (without English) certificate issued by the Sanskrit Board of the State of Bihar or any other equivalent educational qualification recognized by the State Government.

After collection of applications, the applications will be scrutinized and a written test will be conducted for those candidates whose applications are found to be correct. The test may be conducted in more than one shift depending on the number of applications received for the advertisement. For multi-session/ multi-paper examinations, normalized marks for determining merit will be calculated using the equi-percentile method.
The level of the written exam will be of 10th class or equivalent level of Bihar School Examination Board. The written exam will have objective type questions related to 1. Hindi, 2. English, 3. Mathematics, 4. Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics), 5. Science (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany), 6. General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
The written exam will be of 100 marks. There will be a total of 100 questions in a two-hour question paper in which one mark will be given for each correct answer. The exam will be based on OMR sheet. The OMR sheet/ answer sheet will be in two copies, out of which one copy will be kept safe with the board as an invisible carbon copy for one year after the final selection list is published.
