What is EPDS Bihar?

Ration Card Management System also called Jan Vitran Ann (JVA), an online role based software is developed to generate ration card for the eligible families who comes under National Food Security Act. The software provides feature to generate new ration card of the beneficiary, modify existing ration card and surrender of ration card. It also provide feature to generate new ration card in case of split of family, change of card type, change of Head of family.

EPDS Bihar Ration Card Apply Online

There are following simple steps for online submission of Ration Card Bihar Online Application as under described:

1. At first open EPDS Bihar official website epds.bihar.gov.in
2. In the right side of Home Page under Important Links section click on the given link as "Apply for Online RC"
3. You will be redirected to the Jan Vitran Ann Online Ration Card Portal and its official website link is rconline.bihar.gov.in
4. First of all, Applicant should be register on online portal with valid name as per Aadhaar, mobile number, Aadhaar number and email id.
5. After registration, applicant login on portal by using login Id and password.
6. After login by applicant, dashboard screen will be open. Through this dashboard screen user can read the instruction carefully of application. At top of the screen a menu will also appearing where user can see the option of New apply, here user will select one time option that either are applying for rural or urban.
7. After select area from menu, applicant information form will be open where applicant will fill their details as per application required.
8. After submitted applicant information, a new screen will display on portal. By this screen user can add ration card members which valid Aadhaar number, name should be also same as Aadhaar number and required information as well.
9. Now after added the members for same applicant, a link button will be appear on same screen i.e “Go for Upload Document”.
10. After Adding members of same application. Applicant will go for Document Upload. There are five upload control will display here, one for family photo upload, applicant signature photo upload, document upload (merged self-attested pdf copy of bank front page paasbook, residential proof, each member aadhaar), Income certificate and caste certificate (if applicable)
