Intelligence Bureau (IB), MHA invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II/ Tech 2025 for 394 vacancies in group c category. All eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online at MHA official website mha.gov.in from 23rd August 2025 to till the application last date 14th September 2025 for Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) recruitment examination 2025.

Level 4 (Rs.25,500 - 81,100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.

On the basis of combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III exam, a final merit list for the post of JIO-II/Tech will be prepared. A waiting list would also be prepared for providing replacement in future, which will be operative in terms of DoP&T OM No. 41019/18/97-Estt. (B) dated 13.06.2000.
The final selection to the posts would be further subject to successful completion of Character & Antecedent verification followed by medical examination, etc.

Before start of filling-up of application through on-line mode, the candidate should keep ready, the following details/ documents:
Applications should be submitted only through ONLINE registration by logging on to MHA's website (www.mha.gov.in) or NCS portal (www.ncs.gov.in) only. Applications will NOT be accepted through any other mode.
Registration done, prior to 23.08.2025 and after 14.09.2025 will not be accepted.
Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number. It should be kept active during the entire recruitment process. Application sequence number, password, and all other important communication/alerts will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mailbox is not redirected to your junk / spam folder). Candidate must preserve 6 their Application Sequence Number for future use.
