Based on the information provided by the candidate in the online application form, he/she will be provisionally included in the written test (CBT). Merely appearing in the written test (CBT) of the candidates will not confer any right of qualification or selection. Selection will be done on the basis of written test.
There will be an objective type written test (CBT) for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Accountant through Electricity Service Commission. The question paper of written test (CBT) will be of two parts. There will be 50 questions in the first part and 150 questions in the second part.

Venue of Examination :- Examinations will be held as far as possible in the cities of (i). Lucknow, (ii). Meerut, (iii). Agra and (iv).Varanasi. The venue of the examination may be changed or decreased / increased depending on the number of candidates or in special circumstances.
The Pay scale of UPPCL for post of Assistant Accountant (Group C) in Level 5 (Rs.29800/- to 94300/-).
The admit card for the written examination (CBT) will have to be downloaded by the candidate from the website www.uppcl.org and its information will be sent by SMS on the registered mobile number given in the application form and by mail on the registered e-mail. . Admit cards will not be sent by post.
