SLET Commission, Assam invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professors for 6000 vacancies of the Universities and Colleges through State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 conducted by the SLET Commission, Assam. All eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online at SLET official website at sletneonline.co.in or sletne.org from 23rd November 2023 to till the application last date 08th January 2024 for Assam SLET Exam 2024.

Online applications are invites for Assistant Professors of the Universities and Colleges through State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024. This test conducted by SLET Commission, Assam will be held on 17-03-2024 (Sunday). Syllabus : Presently, the Commission has accepted the syllabus of the NET conducted by the UGC and the CSIR. Syllabus will be available in our website www.sletne.org.
Scheme of Test : The Test will consist of two papers. All the two papers will have only objective type questions of the following forms :
The test will be held on a day in two separate sessions.

Paper – I shall be of general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper – II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject. Each question will carry 2 marks.
Note : There will be no negative marking.
It is endeavoured to make atleast one centre in each constituent University of the SLET Commission with a minimum 25 candidates. If the number falls short of this in a centre, then the candidates of that centre will be attached to the nearest centre.
