Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Vidhan Parishad Vacancy 2023

Reporter

  • Bachelor's degree from a University recognized by the State/ Central Government.
  • Stenography in Hindi 150 words per minute.
  • Speed of 35 words per minute in Hindi typing and English typing.
  • Certificate in Computer Course recognized by AICTE or Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC / NIELIT), or a subject equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of the subjects as prescribed by DOEACC / NIELIT or Computer Proficiency Test.

Assistant

  • Bachelor's degree from a University recognized by the State/ Central Government.
  • Speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typing and English typing.

Assistant Caretaker

Bachelor's degree from a University recognized by the State/ Central Government.

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

  • Intermediate qualification from any Institute or Intermediate Council recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.
  • Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

  • Intermediate qualification from any Institute or Intermediate Council recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.
  • Speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typing and English typing.

Security Guard

  • Intermediate in any subject recognized by the Intermediate Council or Board of the State/ Central Government.
  • Physical Standards :
    1. Male - Height : 167.5 cms, 2.4 cms in case of residents of Terai region. flexible, Chest : 76.5 - 81 Cms, Vision : 6/12 in both eyes without glasses.
    2. Female - Height : 154.6 cms, 2.4 cms in case of residents of Terai region flexible. Vision : 6/12 in both eyes without glasses.
  • Physical defects should be disease free.
  • Preference will be given to 'C' certificate in NCC or distinguished sports persons who have represented the State or Country at National or International level or who have represented any recognized University in the tournament.

Physical Standards:

  1. All Category of Male - 1.6 km race complete within 06 Minute.
  2. All Category of Female - 1 km race complete within 06 Minute.

Driver

  • Matric Pass.
  • Valid Driving License (LMV/ HMV) holder.

Office Attendant

  • Matric pass or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of both Hindi and English languages.

Bihar Vidhan Parishad Sachivalaya Syllabus 2023

For Reporter:

For direct recruitment to the posts of Reporter, there will be three stages of test/ examination:-

  1. Preliminary Examination (OMR - Answer Sheet Based Multiple Choice Objective Test)
  2. Hindi Stenography Test and Hindi and English typing (Computer Based) Test and MS Office Word Processing (Computer Based) Test and
  3. Interview

For Assistant:

For direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant, the test/ examination will be conducted in three phases -

  1. Preliminary Examination (OMR Answer Sheet Based Multiple Choice Objective Test)
  2. Hindi & English typing (Computer Based) Test and MS Office Word Processing (Computer Based) Test
  3. Main Examination (Descriptive)

For Assistant Catetaker:

Test/ Examination will be conducted in three phases for direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Catetaker-

  1. Preliminary Examination (OMR Answer Sheet Based Multiple Choice Objective Test)
  2. MS Office Word Processing (Computer Based) Test
  3. Main Examination (Descriptive)

For Date Entry Operator (DEO):

Test/ Examination will be conducted in two phases for direct recruitment to the posts of Date Entry Operator-

For Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

  2. Hindi & English typing (Computer Based) Test and MS Office Word Processing (Computer Based) Test
  3. Main Examination (Descriptive)

For Security Guard:

For direct recruitment to the posts of Security Guard, the test/ examination will be conducted in two stages - (1) Physical Measurement Test and Physical Eligibility Test (RFID based race) and (2) Interview.

  1. Physical Eligibility Test will be of 50 marks and Interview will be of 50 marks.
  2. A candidate who does not fulfill the minimum prescribed criteria in the running event will be declared unsuccessful.

For Security Driver:

For direct recruitment to the post of Driver, test/examination will be conducted in two stages (1) Driving skill and practical (trade test) test and (2) Interview.

  1. Driving skill and practical (trade test) test (75 marks) and interview (25 marks) will be taken for direct recruitment to the posts of driver, total score of 100 marks.
  2. Candidates declared unsuccessful in driving skill and practical (trade test) test will not be eligible for direct recruitment to the posts of driver. No preference will be given for higher educational qualification.

For Office Attendant:

Method of Examination - The method of direct recruitment to these posts will be through separate interviews.

Bihar Vidhan Parishad Salary and Pay Scale 2023

  1. Reporter :- Level-9 (53,100 - 1,67,800) + Other allowances permissible as per rules
  2. Assistant :- Level-7 (44,900 - 1,42,400) + Other allowances permissible as per rules
  3. Assistant Caretaker :- Level-4 (25,500 - 81,100) + Other allowances permissible as per rules
  4. Date Entry Operator :- Level-4 (25,500 - 81,100) + Other allowances permissible as per rules
  5. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) :- Level-2 (Rs.19,900 - 63,200) + Other allowances permissible as per rules
  6. Security Guard :- Level-3 (21,700 - 69,100) + Other allowances permissible as per rules

How To Apply Online For Bihar Vidhan Parishad Vacancy 2023

  1. Before filling the online application, the candidate will study the above guidelines thoroughly and will mark all the information correctly and clearly while filling the online application. Council Secretariat will not be responsible for non-compliance of the necessary (detailed) instructions for filling the online application and for any error in the entry made by the candidate while filling the online application. No representation for any kind of correction / change will be considered in this regard. Candidature will be canceled if any error is found in order to match the information filled in the online application with the original certificates/mark sheets.
  2. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to keep the E-mail Id Mobile Number and User Name and Password mentioned in the online application safe. They will keep it safe till the publication of the final result. Candidates should provide their own working mobile number and e-mail ID while filling the online application. Will mark (c) The Council Secretariat will not be responsible for internet or banking disruption. So the candidates will not wait for the last date and time and will complete all the process before that.
  3. The candidate will upload his/her recent scanned photograph and signature in Hindi and English in the prescribed space in the online application. The candidate shall satisfy himself that the image of the photograph and signature uploaded is clear.
  4. According to the Resolution No. 10668, dated 29.06.2022, of the General Administration Department, Government of Bihar, the scribe will be made available to the candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) only after selecting whether the scribe is required or not (Yes/No) mentioned in the online application, in case of claiming the scribe.
  5. Interested candidates appearing in this competitive examination are also instructed that at the time of applying, they will keep at least five additional copies of the photograph which is being uploaded on the application form, so that it can be submitted by them when required or when demanded by the Council Secretariat.
  6. Council Secretariat will not be responsible for any kind of internet interruption / wrong payment / unsuccessful payment in online payment / Unsuccessful Payment / Transaction Status Failure / Transaction Status Pending and the candidate will not be given extra time for correction.
  7. After submitting the finally filled online application, the candidate must login again at the same time and download the filled application from "Download Filled Application" available on the dashboard and print two copies of the same. Will definitely keep a copy of all the certificates/documents mentioned related to the advertisement. The candidate will definitely have to present the said hard copy as well as the related certificates when asked by the Council Secretariat at any time. If the application number is not indicated on the hard copy, the application will not be considered completely filled and the application will not be accepted.
