There will be Computer Based Test (CBT) and Typing Test. The duration of Computer Based Test (CBT) will be of 03 hours.
In this part, there will be objective type question paper related to the following syllabus, whose maximum marks are mentioned in front, each question will be of 01 mark and negative 1/4 marks will be awarded for every wrong answer i.e. 1/4 mark will be deducted.
In Computer Based Test (CBT), it is mandatory for the Scheduled Caste category candidates to get minimum 28 percent and other category candidates to get minimum 33 percent marks.

Initial salary Rs.27,200.00/-, applicable in the corporation (Level-4), other allowances will be payable as per rules applicable in UP Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd.
Information regarding admit card for Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Test and Document Verification Test will be sent to the candidate on the registered e-mail ID given by him in the application form. Candidates have to download their admit card from the corporation website www.uprvunl.org. Admit Card will not be sent by post.
The written examination will be held in the cities of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. The venue of the examination may be changed or decreased/ increased depending on the number of candidates or in special circumstances. Any e-mail/ correspondence regarding change of examination center will not be valid and examination center cannot be changed. The typing test, Document Verification test of the shortlisted candidates will be held in Lucknow district.
