Selection Process of MP Police Constable 2026

  1. Upon securing minimum qualifying marks in the physical efficiency test, the final selection of the candidates of Constable (GD) cadre will be based on the total marks obtained in the first stage written examination and physical efficiency test.
  2. All original certificates of the candidates called for physical efficiency test will be checked. Candidates will be eligible for selection only after passing the original certificate test. If a candidate is found unfit in the certificate test, he will not be selected even if he has passed the first stage examination and physical efficiency test.
  3. A merit list of the successful candidates will be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in the recruitment examination. First of all, a list of eligible candidates for unreserved posts will be prepared from among the contestants of all categories.

MP Police Constable Syllabus and Test Pattern 2026

There will be a first question paper in the written exam which will be of 100 marks as follows. All the questions will be of the level of class VIII of M.P. Board of Secondary Education.

  1. General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning - 40 Marks
  2. Intellectual Ability and Mental Aptitude - 30 Marks
  3. Science and Simple Arithmetic - 30 Marks

MP Police Constable Salary and Pay Scale 2026

Constable (All Cadre) :- Rs.19500 - 62000/-

Note:- According to the circular dated C 3-13/ 2019/ 3/ 1 dated December 12, 2019 of the Madhya Pradesh Government, General Administration Department, the first year 70 percent of the minimum pay scale, the second year 80 percent and the third year 90 percent stipend will be payable. Apart from the pay scale of all the given cadres, other allowances and perquisites approved by the government from time to time will be payable. Defined contribution pension system has been implemented for the appointed employees.

MP Police Constable Exam Center 2026

While filling the application form, the applicant is required to decide the priority order of the four exam cities. The Board will try to allocate the exam center in a random manner based on the availability of seats in the cities mentioned in the candidate's priority. However, candidates may be allotted other exam centers in place of the desired exam city as per the availability of exam cities and exam centers. The Board can change, decrease or increase the exam cities/centers as per its convenience and the decision of PEB in this regard will be final and binding. No application for change of exam center will be accepted. The written exam will be conducted at the following exam centers.

MPESB Police Constable Admit Card 2026

  1. Admit cards of valid online applications will be made available in two parts on ESB's website https://esb.mp.gov.in In which the first part will contain details of the applicant, name of the exam, roll number and exam center etc.
  2. Additionally, in this part, the details and number of the permanent identification mark of the body and photo identity card filled in the application form of the applicant will also be mentioned.
  3. During the examination itself, the candidate will have to mark his signature, left hand thumb impression and handwriting (with black ball point pen) at the prescribed place in the admit card in front of the invigilator.

MP Police Constable Result 2026

  1. Before the declaration of result, subject wise model answers along with result will be available on ESB website for the convenience of the candidates.
  2. The merit list of candidates will be prepared by ESB on the basis of rules mentioned in the chapters of the manual.
  3. After the recommendation/ instructions of the concerned department, the result of the examination will be made available on the website of Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board, Bhopal www.esb.mp.gov.in
  4. The recommendations of the Final Key Board will also be uploaded on the website of ESB.
